Listed below are all the Powerups available in the BattleTanx Series. All items are displayed as hovering boxes scattered across the map, displaying their corresponding icons. Some rarer than others, and a few are only available during the Campaign.

Restores several units of Health to a Tanks life bar. If at full, the item is stored in the inventory for later use. | |
Ammunition | |
Adds additional ammunition to a Tanks primary weapon. | |
Shield | |
Surrounds the Tank with a shield that can deflect weapon fire. It will wear off after it has taken enough damage. | |
Bonus Points Campaign Only | |
Adds 1000 points to your score. | |
Radar | |
Marks all Tanks and objectives on the map, even from a great distance. Always active in Multiplayer. | |
1UP Campaign Only | |
Adds an extra Tank to your reserve. | |
Swarmers | |
Fires a group of three missiles per round, one going straight and the other two initially curving slightly away. Inflicts a moderate amount of damage. | |
Grenades | |
Fires a timed grenade that can bounce over or off of objects and the environment. | |
Guided Missiles | |
Fires a missile controllable by the player. The camera will follow behind the missile, leaving the Tank inactive. | |
Mines | |
Drops a mine at the players location. Mines do not differentiate between players; anyone who hits them, even the planter themselves, are targets. | |
Laser | |
Fires a high-powered laser that inflicts heavy damage. | |
Cloaking | |
Makes a Tank temporarily invisible (even on a Radar). Firing or being hit will temporarily reveal the Tank. | |
Nuke | |
Launches a timed Nuke that causes a large amount of damage to all Tanks and surroundings across the entire map. | |
Gun Buddies | |
Places a gun turret that will attack any enemy within its proximity until it is destroyed. There are a variety of different turrets available. |

Teleporter | |
Teleports a Tank to a random location on the map. | |
Plasma Bolts | |
Fires plasma shots that bounce off buildings and walls, only stopping once they've found an enemy. | |
Turbo | |
Boosts a Tanks speed for a short amount of time. | |
Flamethrower | |
Fires a short ranged, but highly damaging inferno stream. | |
Bouncing Betties | |
Drops a mine variant that launches itself into the air and rains down lasers when in proximity. Like the normal mines, both allies and enemies are targets. |
